CENTER OF EXHIBITIONS AND CONVENTIONS (CEC)
The Convention Center was inaugurated in September 2017 and is one of the most important in the last years of the City of Buenos Aires. It is characterized by its quality edilicia, the architectural originality and the versatility of its interior spaces free of columns.
It has capacity for approximately 5000 people, with a plenary room and a room auxiliary, offices, meeting places and a 1,600 m² lobby. It consists of three levels underground to extend the landscape of the property between the Faculty of Law of the UBA and the Thays Park. In total, it has an outdoor park of 18 thousand square meters.
In addition to preserving green space and old trees, the Center was built from a sustainable perspective, with lighting that saves electricity, irrigation is done with rainwater and solar panels on the outside. Strategically located in the heart of Recoleta, has easy access through different bus lines, public bicycles or personal, the future subway station (Line H) and ample parking for cars particular.
